ABP UK is seeking an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to manage and develop the hygiene team at our Granville site. You will ensure high daily cleaning standards across production areas and equipment, manage labour and resources, and lead training to sustain skills and compliance.

The role requires strong planning, decisive leadership, and clear communication across all levels, with flexibility to work varying hours as needed to maintain standards.

Qualificações

• Previous hygiene management/supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong and decisive team leader.
• Confident communicator, communicating clearly in both verbal and written terms at all levels across the organisation.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and develop the hygiene team.
• Ensure high standards of cleaning daily.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for all production areas/equipment.
• Control labour utilisation to meet standards.
• Monitor use of water, chemicals and consumables.
• Facilitate training to maintain skills and development.
• Manage Health & Safety on your shift and ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee quality monitoring and auditing systems.
• Review equipment design and cleaning methods/scheduling.
• Design and implement cost/quality control systems.
• Coordinate with operations to prioritise daily work plan and start-up readiness.
• Carry out ad hoc projects as required.
• Liaise with external auditors when required.

The role involves:

Role:

• Responsible for the management and development of the hygiene team
• Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of cleaning is achieved on a daily basis
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are in place and maintained for all production process areas and equipment
• Control labour utilisation to ensure standards are met
• Control water, chemical and consumables usage to ensure effective use
• Facilitate training to ensure necessary training is implemented and appropriate skill levels are maintained, while supporting and developing team members internally to enhance knowledge, competence, and continuous development.
• Responsible for managing the Health & Safety on your shift, and ensure that all H&S policies and procedures are adhered to by you and your team
• Manage the team to ensure that all quality standards are maintained through a system of monitoring and auditing
• Review equipment design and determine appropriate cleaning methods and scheduling
• Design and implement systems to control costs and quality
• Liaise with operations to prioritise the daily work plan and ensure equipment is available for start-up each day
• To carry out ad hoc projects as required
• Liaise with External Auditors when required
