Job summary

Silven Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Hygiene Manager for a leading FMCG site in Lancashire. You will lead site-wide hygiene operations, ensure the facility meets high cleanliness, safety and regulatory standards, and work closely with Operations to drive improvements.

Key responsibilities include managing cleaning schedules, leading the Hygiene Team, coordinating pest control, training staff and controlling the hygiene budget, with a strong emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hygiene Manager in FMCG environments.
• IOSH qualification or working towards it.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification desirable.
• Proven track record of maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Flexible to meet business needs.

The Role

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing site-wide hygiene operations, ensuring the facility consistently meets the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience as a Hygiene Manager, ideally within FMCG

• A demonstrated track record of maintaining high hygiene standards
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business
