Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to cover Coventry and the UK, offering a stable, technical role with a company car from day one. You will manage an established accounts portfolio, understand hydraulic systems, and provide first-line application support across the UK.

You should have a mechanical or hydraulic engineering qualification and experience in technical sales, with the ability to read hydraulic schematics, travel as needed, and build long-term customer

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Hydraulic engineering qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Background in hydraulics industry to hit the ground running.
• Customer-facing experience in technical sales, engineering or service.
• Confidence reading hydraulic schematics (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts from a Coventry base, travelling across the UK.
• Visit customers regularly to understand their hydraulic circuits and provide first-line application support.
• Prepare preliminary solutions and quotations within pricing policies.
• Collaborate with technical, customer services, quality and operations teams to deliver projects.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and sales forecast, and spot new business opportunities.
• Support product training, troubleshooting and warranty returns when needed.
