Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is searching for a Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer in Gloucestershire. You will repair, overhaul and refurbish hydraulic and pneumatic components in the workshop, following engineering drawings and using precision methods to ensure high-quality assemblies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualification, Level 3 preferred.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in stripping and rebuilding equipment.
• Pipefitting, pipe bending and basic electrical awareness.
• Fabrication, fitting and machining experience.
• Willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training.
• Able to work away occasionally and independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair, overhaul and refurbishment of hydraulic power units and components.
• Strip down hydraulic components and inspect wear parts.
• Rebuild and assemble hydraulic power units for customers.
• Pressure test components and ensure quality control.
• Basic fabrication, welding and machining as required.
