Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Wellbeing Practitioner (CYP) to deliver brief, low‑intensity CBT to children and young people across rural west Dorset. You will work in a hybrid model, delivering one‑to‑one and group interventions with families, schools and partner agencies.

The post requires CYP IAPT aligned practice, a PG Cert or equivalent, and an Enhanced DBS check. You’ll join a developing service with flexible hours and a relocation package for eligible

Qualifications

• Wellbeing Practitioner (CYP) qualification, PG Cert or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CYP IAPT core principles and relevant specialist training.
• Enhanced DBS check requirement.
• Experience working with children and young people with mental health problems.
• Experience working with families.
• Supervised clinical experience.
• Experience developing programmes of care for individuals or groups.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of children and young people.
• Deliver individual and group low‑intensity CBT interventions.
• Facilitate group work across rural west Dorset.
• Deliver evidence‑based treatment to help young people achieve positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools and partner agencies.
• Help develop innovative ways to engage and support young people.
• Support existing teams while new service structures are implemented.
• Work flexibly within extended hours as the service develops.
