Job summary

Vita Health Group's NHS Talking Therapies service offers a fixed-term 12-month training post. Trainees combine clinical delivery of Low Intensity CBT with a Post-Graduate Certificate at the University of Exeter, starting 1 March 2027. Hybrid teaching occurs in Bristol or Exeter, with office attendance twice weekly.

Trainees will undertake clinical work, academic study, and supervision, with out-of-hours shifts and remote work as required.

Qualifications

• DBS check is required.
• Right to work in the UK without restriction.
• Eligibility for Home Fee status.
• No NHS-funded psychological professions training completed within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Low Intensity CBT-based interventions to clients with common mental health problems.
• Complete academic study and clinical delivery with supervision.
• Attend weekly hybrid university days in Bristol or Exeter.
• Provide out-of-hours appointments as service needs require, including a 12-8pm late shift on Mondays or Tuesdays.
• Work remotely with the service, attending a BNSSG office at least twice a week.

Undergraduate degree or evidence of RQF Level 6 study
