Job summary

Vail Williams is seeking an Associate Surveyor - Valuation to join our Gatwick Valuation team. You will deliver accurate property valuations for loan security, financial reporting and taxation, working with prestigious clients across commercial and residential sectors.

The ideal candidate will hold MRICS or FRICS, have Registered Valuer status, strong leadership, and experience leading valuations from instruction to report delivery, with proficiency in valuation software and a commitment to

Qualifications

MRICS or FRICS accreditation required.
Registered Valuer status required.
Strong leadership and team motivation capabilities.
Experience taking primary responsibility for professional valuations of commercial and residential property.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with proprietary valuation software.
Analytical and strategic thinking with financial awareness.
High integrity and professional standards; adherence to RICS standards.
Agile and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.

Responsibilities

Delivery of consistent, accurate and timely valuation advice for clients
Remain current with new legislation, evolving RICS standards and valuation changes
Prepare reports and advice, proofreading others' reports
Ensure correct use of templates, provide feedback and assist development of colleagues
Share knowledge and contacts to support business plans
Secure new instructions with internal and external partners
