Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a Treasury Assistant to join our Finance team in a hybrid role at Haydock. The successful candidate will support daily treasury activities, process payments, handle employee expenses, and contribute to treasury reporting and controls.

The role requires strong numerical and organisational skills, attention to detail, and good IT proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel. Collaboration with the Treasury team and wider Finance function is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier, payroll and other payments in line with company policies and approval limits.
• Audit and process employee expense claims and support the administration of the expenses system.
• Assist with treasury reporting, including cash, liquidity and Net Debt reporting.
• Support the administration of banking platforms, mandates and treasury records.
• Respond to treasury-related queries from colleagues across the business.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist with treasury projects, process improvements and continuous control enhancements.
• Provide day-to-day support to the wider Treasury team.
