Job summary

Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a Transport Planning Officer (Policy) to join the Policy & Strategy team in Hove Town Hall. You will help develop transport policies, lead early scheme development and optioneering, and coordinate stakeholder engagement and public consultations.

You will monitor policy outcomes, support related planning processes, and contribute to cross-department transport initiatives. Hybrid working is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working in transport and developing policies and schemes.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and run public consultations.
• Knowledge of local planning and highway processes.
