Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in London is seeking a Transport Engineer to join the Development Engineering & Planning team on a hybrid, permanent basis. The role focuses on S278/S38 highways design and related transport assessments in a fast-growing infrastructure practice.

You will work on high-rise, residential, and commercial projects from Old Street offices, collaborating with a 160-strong firm, contribute to shaping transport solutions, and benefit from a supportive path toward Chartership and

Qualifications

• Experience in UK highway consultancy environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; ARCADY/PICADY and LinSig are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce S278 & S38 highways design packages.
• Prepare Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Develop Travel Plans and related deliverables.
• Drive project ownership and client liaison.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineers.
• Perform data analysis and research to support developments.
• Engage with the team to deliver high-quality infrastructure.
• Support delivery within a fast-growing consultancy.
