Job summary

Legal & General (L&G) seeks a Transitions Director for its Award‑Winning Pension Risk Transfer team. This senior, client‑facing role requires deep Defined Benefit pensions knowledge, strong implementation experience, and the confidence to engage with Trustees, Sponsors, Advisers and internal stakeholders.

Hybrid working enables flexible balance between home and office, supporting complex, end-to-end PRT transactions and governance deliverables across the UK market.

Qualifications

• Pensions knowledge and regulatory awareness essential.
• Experience presenting to Trustees, Advisers and senior external stakeholders.
• Strong project management and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across legal, regulatory, reinsurance, product development and operations.
• Own tailored servicing responses for RFQs and support new business opportunities.
• Lead client servicing content in pitches and finals presentations.
• Understand prospective clients, their de-risking plans and onboarding needs.
• Manage end-to-end implementation for large complex PRT transactions.
• Produce governance MI and documentation for decision making.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews with Trustees and Advisers.
• Support development of pensions technical, transition and onboarding capability.
