Job summary

Currys, via its iD Mobile Acquisitions team, is seeking a commercially minded Trading Analyst in London with a hybrid working pattern. You’ll drive pricing, promotions and trading activity to improve customer acquisition and profitability across Currys, Carphone Warehouse, and idmobile.co.uk.

You’ll analyse performance data, produce daily/weekly reports, and collaborate with BI, Marketing and Operations to uncover opportunities and deliver growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a commercial, trading or analytical role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to turn data into insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience producing and interpreting sales and performance reports.
• Commercially minded with understanding of pricing and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Support management and optimisation of the SIMO tariff portfolio, including pricing, promotions and trading performance analysis.
• Produce and analyse daily and weekly sales reports, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across channels and product categories.
• Drive reporting efficiencies with BI teams to automate reporting solutions.
• Support performance of Currys and Carphone Warehouse channels, identifying growth opportunities.
• Partner with Digital and Affiliate teams to understand drivers and maximise acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Go To Market and Operations to deliver acquisition and profitability targets.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and challenge commercial assumptions to support profitability.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and new propositions, and advise on pricing and promotions.
