Vivid Resourcing is partnering with a Bedfordshire planning team to recruit a proactive Town Planner. You will handle a varied portfolio, provide professional planning advice, and help deliver successful development proposals across Bedfordshire and the wider region.

Qualifications

• Experience in town planning, development management or planning consultancy.
• Knowledge of the UK planning system and related legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documentation.
• Undertake planning appraisals and provide strategic planning advice.
• Manage planning projects from instruction to determination.
• Liaise with planning authorities, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Research and interpret national and local planning policy.
• Prepare planning statements, appeals and other documentation.
• Monitor planning applications and respond to consultations.
• Attend meetings, site visits and planning committees.
