Job summary

Bimplus in Peterborough is seeking a CDM Coordinator/Timber Frame Designer to join their growing offsite team. You will work on several timber frame projects, collaborating with manufacturing, site teams and design meetings.

The role requires a strong command of technical drawings, timber frame design and Revit or similar software. It offers hybrid working after a qualifying period, a competitive salary of £40-45k and a wide range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of technical drawings and construction design.
• 5 year or more designing timber frame.
• Good Revit skills and/or specialist design software experience (eg hsbCAD, Mitek, Wolf, Consultec etc).
• Confidence in picking up new softwares.

Responsibilities

• Working on several projects running concurrently
• Preparing designs of walls, floors and roofs
• Providing specialist technical information to your colleagues in production, scheduling and site teams
• Ensuring accurate and buildable designs in line with design and warranty requirements and structural engineering information provided
• Resolving technical and architectural queries
