Job summary

Aspire Housing is seeking a Technical Maintenance Surveyor to support the Responsive Repairs and Voids teams. The role is hybrid with site visits across the region, based near Newcastle under Lyme. You will survey and inspect homes, specify works and oversee subcontracted repairs to high Aspire standards.

Two years post-qualification experience in social housing surveying is required, with solid trades knowledge and a customer-focused, right-first-time approach consistent with our values.

Qualifications

• At least two years' post-qualification experience in social housing surveying.
• Solid understanding of core trades.
• Ability to inspect, specify and diagnose works in construction environments using standard rates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys and property inspections across the housing stock.
• Scope works, materials and plant required while ensuring value for money and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee subcontracted repairs to meet Aspire standards and timeframes.
