AVEVA is seeking a Technical Accountant for our Cambridge office operating on a hybrid basis. The role supports the Group Reporting - Technical Team, ensuring accurate reporting of consolidations and year-end statements.

Ideal candidates will be a qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and SOX environments. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential, along with excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting and consolidations.
• SOX environment experience is desirable.
• Organised with strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of year-end financial statements.
• Assist with external audit process and provide documentation.
• Assist in documenting and validating consolidation adjustments (fixed and variable).
• Perform data analysis for consolidation adjustments.
• Contribute to accounting adjustments for acquisitions/divestments and other group transactions.
• Help document group accounting policies and maintain the accounting manual.
• Provide ad-hoc support on technical accounting and reporting issues.
