Job summary

AVEVA is a global leader in industrial software, recruiting a Technical Accountant for Cambridge. The role supports the Group Reporting - Technical Team to ensure correct transaction reporting and robust financial controls in a SOX environment.

Hybrid working is offered, with on-site presence 50% of the time to enable collaboration. You will prepare year-end statements, assist audits, and help document consolidation policies across the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience of financial reporting and consolidations.
• Experience in SOX environment is desirable.
• Organised and able to balance conflicting priorities.
• Collaborative, with good communications skills.
• High attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce year-end financial statements and related reporting.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain accuracy of consolidation adjustments documentation.
• Analyze data for consolidation calculations.
• Assist with accounting adjustments for acquisitions/divestitures.
• Document policies for the Group accounting manual.
• Provide ad-hoc technical accounting support in a SOX framework.
