Job summary

Addition Solutions is seeking a Technology Operations Manager in Milton Keynes to lead the Service Desk, manage endpoints and drive automation in a fast-growing fintech environment. This hands-on leader will own the operational technology function, align with security and compliance, and scale processes for a regulated business.

The role offers hybrid work, a salary up to £75,000 plus benefits, and opportunities to shape automation and service improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT Service Desk or Technology Operations in regulated environments.
• Hands-on endpoint management knowledge for Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Joiners/Movers/Leavers processes and access controls.
• Automation or scripting experience to reduce manual Service Desk activity.
• Strong ITSM knowledge and Jira Service Management exposure.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance business impact with technology risk.
• Knowledge of security policies and data protection requirements.
• ITIL 4 Foundation or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Service Desk team with clear objectives and SLAs.
• Own Windows and macOS endpoints lifecycle and configurations.
• Define, monitor and report service KPIs and KRIs.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement runbooks and self-service tools.
• Partner with Security to embed endpoint hardening and patching in daily operations.
• Oversee Joiners, Movers and Leavers provisioning and access management.
• Manage ITSM platforms, workflows and supplier relationships.
• Document operational processes and maintain knowledge base.
