Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Technical Project Lead for Modelling and Simulation to guide delivery on marine-focused projects. You will embed with customer teams, define sprint tasks, manage technical risks, and lead Scrum ceremonies within an Agile environment.

Applicants should have a degree in a related field, strong modelling and control experience, and a background in MATLAB/Simulink, with leadership or mentoring exposure. Hybrid role based in Bristol with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Degree in a related discipline (Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Mathematics)
Strong modelling, control, dynamics and simulation experience
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for control systems and software delivery
Proven leadership or mentoring experience in a project setting
Experience in Agile/Scrum with Jira/Confluence and Git-based workflows

Responsibilities

Embed with customer teams to deliver engineering outcomes.
Define sprint tasks and manage technical risks with Engineering Manager.
Lead Scrum ceremonies for planning, review and retrospectives.
Review and merge MATLAB/Simulink deliverables ensuring quality.
Coordinate across project teams to reduce dependencies and align implementations.
Support model-based design and real-time simulations or monitoring systems.
