Job summary

ALTECH GROUP LTD in Manchester is seeking a Technology Internal Auditor to support internal and external audits, uphold regulatory, security and compliance obligations within our growing fintech environment.

You'll work with stakeholders across the business, apply frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS, and help strengthen governance, risk and controls through hands-on auditing and evidence collection.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of information security or compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or PCI-DSS.
• Understanding IT systems, security controls and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating and conducting internal audits across the business.
• Supporting external audits and certification assessments.
• Working with recognised frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Reviewing internal controls, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Gathering and maintaining audit evidence and compliance documentation.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure audit findings are addressed effectively.
• Supporting continuous improvement across governance, risk and compliance processes.
