Job summary

Workman LLP is seeking an Internal Auditor to independently assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks across its UK offices. The role focuses on ISO 27001:2022 audits and ongoing ISMS assurance, including Cyber Essentials Plus, backup/audit checks, and physical security audits at each location.

You will plan, execute and report audit outcomes, collaborate across teams, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit, compliance, risk or governance roles.
• Knowledge of ISO accreditation frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in the property industry is beneficial but not essential.
• High levels of integrity, discretion and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ISO 27002:2022 internal audits across all UK offices.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 audits conducted biannually.
• Lead compliance spot-checks to ensure continuity of practices.
• Ensure client due diligence questionnaires are processed and analysed.
• Prepare audit reports with clear findings in line with ISO standards.
• Provide guidance on internal audit trends and regulatory changes.
• Offer ad hoc training or respond to compliance queries from stakeholders.
