Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a Team Manager - Duty & Assessment / Child Protection in Warwickshire. The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, and an immediate start on a 3-month contract with potential extension.

The post requires a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration, extensive experience in Duty & Assessment/Child Protection, and the ability to manage complex cases while ensuring high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work degree and current registration.
• Experience leading a Duty & Assessment/Child Protection team is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision and support to Social Workers and Senior Practitioners.
• Oversee referrals, assessments and child protection investigations.
• Ensure statutory duties and timescales are met.
• Manage complex and high-risk cases.
• Quality assure assessments, plans and reports.
• Support staff development through supervision and performance management.
• Collaborate with health, education, police and legal services.
