Job summary

Vegetarian Express Ltd is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager on a fixed-term contract (12 months) to cover maternity leave. You will own end-to-end supply chain performance, including demand planning, stock health, inbound logistics and supplier performance, managing the Supply Chain Planner and reporting to the Purchasing and Supply Chain Director.

You will drive forecasting improvements, collaborate with Procurement and Operations, and support the business through a period of change

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience leading a supply chain function (preferably in food)
• Proven track record in developing team members
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent analytical skills; intermediate Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

• Line-manage and develop the Supply Chain Planner
• Own availability, stock health and wastage targets
• Act as escalation point for supply issues
• Own supplier delivery performance strategy with Procurement
• Set inventory strategy including stock holding and MOQs
• Drive forecasting, planning tools and process automation
• Represent supply chain in wider business planning during change
