Job summary

National Gas in Peterborough is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join our East Region team. You will support sourcing events, contract management, and market analysis to drive commercial value and governance across regional spend.

Working in a hybrid pattern, you will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement, accurate data in systems, and strong contract performance across lower value categories.

Qualifications

• Understanding of sourcing, procurement, or contract management processes.
• Ability to analyse data and identify meaningful trends and insights.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Good attention to detail and an understanding of compliance, governance, and process adherence.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing events and contract management activities across a range of lower value and lower complexity spend categories.
• Prepare tender documentation and assist with the management of competitive sourcing processes.
• Conduct market research and analyse spend data to provide recommendations and commercial insights.
• Manage contract renewal activities and help maintain effective contract performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support ordering, delivery tracking, and replenishment activities for procured products and services.
• Maintain accurate information within supply chain systems, including Coupa, Ariba, and Sphera.
