Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Supervising Social Worker for an independent fostering agency covering North Devon or South Devon. This permanent, part-time role (3 days a week) with hybrid working requires monthly attendance in the office.

You will hold a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Work, with right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).

Qualifications

• Social Work degree with post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Work.
• UK work rights; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, assessing, matching & training prospective foster carers.
• Supervising a caseload of 4 foster families.
• Working collaboratively within a multi-agency team.
• Upkeeping all relevant compliance & reports.
• Attending in fostering panel meetings.
