Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is looking for a mid‑level Structural Engineer to join the buildings structures team at the Sidcup, Kent office. The firm handles a variety of sectors including rail, buildings, marine, transport and housing, with a workload that keeps the team busy.

You will design and support projects up to £60m, bring knowledge of main structural materials, and use Tekla BIMs where possible. The role offers flexible/hybrid working and a supportive environment with long‑standing staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with main structural materials.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the buildings structures team, currently just under 10 staff.
• Design and support projects up to £60m in value.
• Provide expertise across all main materials.
• Use Tekla BIMs where possible (preferred).
• Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.
