Job summary

Balfour Beatty Living Places in Warwick is seeking a Street Works Coordinator to manage permit lifecycles and ensure safe, compliant highway works.

You’ll coordinate permit applications, TTROs and liaise with local authorities and contractors, while keeping master schedules accurate and on track. The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail and right-first-time submissions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing street works permits through the full permit lifecycle.
• Good understanding of NRSWA, permit schemes, TTRO processes and street works legislation.
• Experience using systems such as Street Manager, Confirm or similar industry platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and right-first-time submissions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of street works permits and related activities.
• Submit and coordinate permit applications, licences and TTROs.
• Monitor permit status and ensure timely actions.
• Coordinate permit modifications, refusals, starts, reinstatements and closures.
• Produce daily permit reports and update operational teams.
• Collaborate with Agents, Supervisors and Operations Managers to plan and permit works.
• Liaise with local authorities, clients and external stakeholders on permit requirements.
• Keep master programmes and permit records up to date.
• Escalate risks, issues or programme impacts to relevant teams.
