We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our private cloud operations in Glasgow. You will manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, drive automation, and own incident response in a hybrid, Inside IR35 contract.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, scripting (Python, Bash), CI/CD, security baselines, and collaboration with software engineering and security teams. Hybrid UK-based role with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 4+ years in SRE/DevOps or production infra.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and OpenShift administration and scaling.
• Automation, scripting (Python/Bash), infra management tools.
• Incident management, RCA, high-availability troubleshooting.
• Security, monitoring, observability with Prometheus/Grafana.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration.
• Hybrid Glasgow, UK based with Inside IR35 eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and enhance OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Design infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and RCAs.
• Enforce security baselines and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage production platforms, upgrades, and maintenance windows.
• Monitor performance, utilization, latency, and traffic.
• Collaborate with software, DevOps, and security teams.
• Document cluster topologies, runbooks, and incident logs.
