Job summary

Recruit with Purpose in the North East is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to shape technology strategy for a Housing Association. You will translate business needs into robust technology solutions across projects, products and systems.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, product owners and system owners to design blueprints and roadmaps that align with enterprise architecture and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Solutions Architecture or similar role.
• Experience across at least two IT disciplines (infrastructure, applications, integrations, networking, databases or cloud).
• Proven track record of developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience taking technical solutions from design through delivery.
• Ability to assess existing technology estates and recommend improvements or modernisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, with ability to influence at senior levels.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, agile methodologies and emerging tech trends.

This Housing Association is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join its IT Architecture team. This role will see you working across a broad range of projects, products and systems, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions that align with the organisation's wider enterprise architecture.

You'll work closely with the Enterprise Architect, product owners and system owners, helping shape the technology landscape and ensuring solutions support both current business needs and future ambitions.

As Solutions Architect, you'll:

To be a great fit, you’ll likely have:

• Extensive experience in a Solutions Architecture or similar technical architecture role.
• Experience across at least two IT disciplines, such as infrastructure, application development, integrations, networking, databases or cloud technologies.
• A proven track record of developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience taking technical solutions from initial design through to delivery.
• The ability to assess existing technology estates and recommend appropriate improvements or modernisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to present and influence at both technical and senior leadership level.
• A good understanding of enterprise architecture, agile delivery methodologies and emerging technology trends.

Social Housing experience isn't necessarily essential. What's important is your ability to understand business requirements, bring together different technology disciplines and design solutions that deliver genuine business value.

The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the head office based in the North East.
