Job summary

Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd in Banbury is seeking a Solutions Architect to design, configure, and implement technical software solutions that meet complex business needs. You will work with project managers and customers to translate requirements into scalable workflows and configurations across our applications.

This role blends technical expertise with product knowledge and consultative skills, offering a hybrid work model (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Experience in solution architecture or technical implementation roles.
• Ability to interpret complex process maps and business rules.
• Experience with configurable platforms or enterprise software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Windows Server technologies (RDP, IIS, server roles).
• Knowledge of SQL Server, cloud platforms, VMs, networking and storage.

Responsibilities

• Workflow design: analyse customer processes and design optimized workflows within the product.
• UAT workflow/configuration: conduct internal testing using a structured criteria matrix.
• Advanced configuration: build and implement complex configurations and data flows.
• Solution scoping: collaborate with managers to define implementation plans.
• Documentation: create and maintain configuration/workflow docs for internal and customer use.
• Customer enablement: provide training and knowledge transfer on solution design and best practices.
• Continuous improvement: gather feedback to inform product enhancements.
• Assist with third‑party software integration, e.g. cameras, printing, hardware, network and sharing.
• Uphold certification and adhere to Information Security Policies.
