Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or an equivalent qualification.
• OR an A-level in STEM and successful completion of our aptitude test.
• OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and aptitude test success.
• OR 2 years' experience in a relevant role with aptitude test.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve customer-facing web applications.
• Build front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Develop back-end functionality using Node.js, PHP and SQL.
• Design and maintain relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Translate business and customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Test, debug, deploy and enhance software applications.
• Use Git and source control to manage code changes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate with colleagues and customers to gather requirements and resolve issues.
• Follow security, data protection and software development best practices.
