Job summary

Diony is a strategy-first agency delivering exceptional ecommerce experiences. As part of our web team, you’ll build, optimise and support Shopify stores for a range of clients, with hybrid work options in Leeds or Hull.

You’ll collaborate with the Lead Developer and Head of Design to create high-performing storefronts, troubleshoot issues, and stay ahead with the latest Shopify features and workflows.

Qualifications

• Build Shopify themes from start to finish.
• Support and maintain live Shopify builds.
• Deliver high-performing storefronts in collaboration with designers.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• 2+ years’ experience in Shopify custom theme development.
• Experience with high-turnover ecommerce websites.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Version control with Git and Shopify CLI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build Shopify themes from start to finish.
• Support and maintain live Shopify builds.
• Work closely with designers to deliver high-performing, conversion-focused storefronts.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Manage your workload with ownership and minimal micromanagement.
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues and technical challenges.
• Continuously learn and test new Shopify features, tools and technologies.
