Job summary

EDF Trading, part of EDF Group, is seeking a Quantitative Engineering professional in London. You will develop and support risk, positions and valuations across derivatives in a fast-paced front office setting.

The role requires strong technical and analytical skills, and collaboration with analytics and development teams. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality code, adhering to testing and documentation standards, and participating in architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users to gather requirements and deliver development work on time.
• Adhere to standards: documentation, testing, peer review, and best practices.
• Provide high quality code with test coverage and proper documentation.
• Refactor components to reduce duplication and standardise solutions.
• Support production operations, testing, rollout and production support.
• Advise on architecture, data model and system design for projects.
• Maintain visibility of work via backlog and communicate progress.
