Job summary

EDF Trading Limited is seeking a Quantitative Engineer to join its London team. The role focuses on developing its risk, pricing and PnL capabilities within a fast-paced front office environment.

You will engage with traders and analysts, translate requirements into robust software, and help evolve the enterprise valuation platform with scalable solutions. You should have strong skills in .NET and Python, understand API development, and be comfortable with containerised and cloud-based

Qualifications

• Good programming skills in .Net (C#) and Python, able to write clear and effective code.
• Understanding of API/backend services development in .Net.
• Experience with containers and cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Interest in commodity trading and finance domain.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users to gather requirements and own delivery within timelines.
• Adhere to standards: documentation, testing, peer review.
• Provide visibility via backlog and deliver high quality code with tests.
• Refactor and standardise components to reduce duplication.
• Assist production operations in testing, rollout and production support.
• Advise on architecture, data models and interfaces for projects.
