Job summary

Seetha Software Solutions is hiring a Java Developer to design, develop and test microservice applications using Java, Docker and Kubernetes in a hybrid London office.

You will work with Kafka, implement TDD/BDD, mentor juniors, and collaborate across teams to build scalable, well-documented software following internal standards. Salary ranges from £38,000 to £50,000 per year, with immediate starters welcome.

Qualifications

• Java development experience with a strong foundation in system design.
• Experience with build/config tools such as Jenkins, Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for observability.
• Knowledge of standard engineering methodologies (XP, Scrum, etc.).
• Understanding of design patterns and event-driven design principles.
• Proficiency in TDD/BDD and pair programming.
• Experience integrating with APIs and event-streams (Kafka, MQTT).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new microservice apps using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with other developers and share knowledge.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to in-house training.
• Build scalable apps that facilitate multi-team development.
