You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Governance and stakeholders to ensure models meet business objectives, while promoting best practices and tool adoption.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data modelling across conceptual, logical and physical models.
• Experience aligning data models with business objectives.
• Strong collaboration with data engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient with data governance and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of conceptual data models to accelerate the production of high-quality data assets for analytical purposes.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to align logical and physical models with the conceptual framework.
• Manage the Data Model Governance Process for Snowflake analytics platform.
• Partner with Data Governance to align models with business objectives.
• Consult with stakeholders to ensure data models reflect business needs.
• Evaluate and champion data modelling tools.
• Support adoption and optimization of data cataloguing tools such as Alation.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure models are fit for purpose.
