Job summary

British Heart Foundation is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Management team. You will help operate and improve our data intelligence platform on Azure and Databricks, delivering scalable, governed data products to enable data-driven decision making across the organisation.

You will collaborate with data product owners, BI teams and stakeholders to turn requirements into valuable outcomes, support multiple complex projects, and drive improvements in pipelines,

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience in data platforms.
• Experience implementing scalable ETL data pipelines and data integration.
• Knowledge of Databricks on Azure or similar environments.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory to develop data pipelines.
• Familiarity with code management and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, governed data products for the Enterprise Data Intelligence Platform.
• Partner with data product owners, BI teams and stakeholders to turn requirements into outcomes.
• Support and improve data pipelines and platforms across multiple projects.
• Balance priorities and manage risks in a technical delivery team.
