Howden Group Services is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead and execute high-impact data initiatives in a modern Azure-based ecosystem. You will architect metadata-driven data pipelines, guide best practices, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes Databricks and Azure services, with responsibilities spanning design, implementation, governance, and DevOps for data projects in a global enterprise.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in data engineering with focus on Databricks (SQL & PySpark).
• Proven experience with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Functions).
• Strong orchestration and data workflow automation experience (Airflow, DBT).
• Experience with CI/CD for data and infrastructure as code.

Responsabilidades

• Lead metadata ingestion frameworks and orchestration processes.
• Design scalable metadata-driven data pipelines and services.
• Architect and maintain Databricks/Azure data solutions including ADF and ADLS.
• Enforce data engineering best practices, CI/CD and DevOps for data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
