Job summary

Page Personnel is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer to join our security operations team in a hybrid role across offices in Liverpool, Glasgow and London. The successful candidate will investigate and respond to incidents, perform in-depth threat analysis, and collaborate with external providers to ensure effective monitoring and incident handling.

The role requires hands-on remediation experience, knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, and strong cloud security and threat detection

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, incident response, threat detection.
• Exposure to detection engineering and hands-on remediation.
• Familiarity with attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to security incidents escalated through the Security Operations function.
• Perform detailed security event analysis and identify threats or areas needing further investigation.
• Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure monitoring, alert management, and incident handling.
• Perform hands-on remediation and provide recommendations to improve security controls and reduce risk.
• Conduct security reviews of systems, infrastructure, and operational processes.
• Drive continuous security improvements and contribute to developing operational security controls and procedures.
