Job summary

Simpson Judge is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate to join its growing Stockport team. You will lead on high-value M&A and private equity deals, with responsibility for corporate governance work, shareholder agreements and business development in a collaborative environment.

You will also manage fee income, time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection, while building long-term client relationships and helping grow the practice through BD activities and networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in corporate law.
• Experience handling M&A, private equity and investment deals.
• Experience with shareholder agreements and corporate governance.
• Ability to manage time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection.
• Hybrid working in Stockport with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side).
• Manage private equity and investment deals, shareholder agreements, restructures and governance work.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to BD activities.
• Oversee time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection while driving revenue.
