Job summary

Simpson Judge is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate to join its growing Stockport team. You will lead on high-value M&A and private equity deals, with responsibility for corporate governance work, shareholder agreements and business development in a collaborative environment.

You will also manage fee income, time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection, while building long-term client relationships and helping grow the practice through BD activities and networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in corporate law.
• Experience handling M&A, private equity and investment deals.
• Experience with shareholder agreements and corporate governance.
• Ability to manage time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection.
• Hybrid working in Stockport with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Senior Corporate Associate | 5+ PQE | Stockport | Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Solicitor to join a growing team in Stockport. You'll handle high-value matters with genuine autonomy, working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.

You'll lead on M&A transactions (both buy- and sell-side), private equity and investment deals, shareholder agreements, group restructures and corporate governance work. While building long-term client relationships, you'll also take ownership of fee income generation, keeping effective control of time recording, WIP, billing, and cash collection, and play an active role in business development, including networking and attending business development events.
