Job summary

Ocean Infinity seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines and automation that replace manual workflows with reliable data systems. You will drive the data platform architecture across ingestion, transformation and governance, partnering with product, analytics, and AI teams to deliver robust data products.

The role requires leadership, strong Python, SQL/NoSQL skills, and extensive experience with cloud data services (Azure or AWS) and Kubernetes in production

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/Data/Backend with technical leadership.
• Experience architecting data pipelines and data platforms serving multiple consumers.
• Expert knowledge of cloud data services in Azure or AWS (ADLS/ADF/Databricks, S3/Glue).
• Production experience deploying containerized services in Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Strong SQL and NoSQL design and optimization; data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead development of scalable data automation and pipelines.
• Design Bronze→Silver→Gold data transformations with data quality and reproducible data products.
• Own data platform architecture: ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance.
• Build backend data services and APIs exposing curated datasets.
• Lead integration of data sources and ensure secure, scalable streaming/batch patterns.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and AI teams to meet data needs.
• Set architectural standards and document patterns for scalability.
