Job summary

Oxford Instruments, Materials Analysis, is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Team Leader to drive high quality C# software while leading a small dev team. The role combines people management with hands-on development in a hybrid setup, keeping close to architecture and delivery.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and help shape an engineering culture that emphasizes performance, quality and collaboration across R&D stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experienced in people management.
Experience developing software in C#.
Experience developing code as part of a product development team.

Responsibilities

Work within an Agile team to develop high quality functionality to agreed specifications and timescales.
Use internal software design methodologies to develop robust components and systems.
Participate in software design reviews and trials of new tools and techniques.
Provide ongoing support for new and existing products.
Provide and update documentation to aid maintenance and internal customers.
Coordinate technical solutions within specific software projects.
Support, coach and mentor a team of developers.
