Job summary

RSK Group in London is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team. You will own the DBT transformation layer on the Snowflake warehouse, design semantic Power BI models, and define a single metrics layer across the business.

You will drive data quality, governance, and self-serve reporting, working in a hybrid role with at least three days in the office. A relevant degree and strong SQL/BI experience are required, with prior leadership in analytics engineering.

Qualifications

• Substantial analytics engineering or BI development experience, including time in a senior or lead role owning a transformation and metrics layer.
• Expert SQL with well-structured, maintainable data models.
• Expert DBT with macros, packages, testing, documentation and CI.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the DBT transformation layer on Snowflake, including architecture, standards and testing.
• Own the metrics layer with a single definition per group metric and version-controlled documentation.
• Lead the design of Power BI semantics and datasets for fast, self-serve reporting.
• Extend certified coverage as new businesses are connected and rationalise the reporting estate.
• Make data quality visible with indicators and automated issue resolution.
