Job summary

Kent County Council is recruiting an EHC Case Officer to manage a defined caseload of children and young people with SEND, delivering high-quality, person-centred support in line with national legislation and statutory guidance.

You will work with early years settings, schools and Post-16 providers, communicating with families and education professionals, making minor amendments to EHCPs, and escalating when larger changes are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with families
• Communicating regularly with education providers and partner professionals
• Making minor amendments to EHCPs where appropriate
• Identifying when more significant changes are required and seeking guidance from a senior officer
• Defined caseload management with Annual Reviews planned, completed and monitored within statutory timescales
