Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar cyber security environment.
• Hands-on experience with security operations, cyber defence, incident response or threat detection.
• Knowledge of SIEM, IAM and DLP technologies.
• Exposure to cloud security and enterprise collaboration environments.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to security incidents from the Security Operations function.
• Analyze security events to identify threats and determine necessary actions.
• Collaborate with external providers for monitoring, alerts and incident handling.
• Support cyber incident response as a technical security specialist.
• Analyze metrics and trends; propose improvements to controls and reduce risk.
• Lead security awareness initiatives including phishing simulations and remediation.
• Maintain and optimise monitoring platforms across the technology estate.
• Review security of systems, infrastructure and processes.
• Work with technology and business teams to drive ongoing security improvements.
• Ensure operations meet regulatory, governance and best practices.
