Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking an experienced Security Architect to design and implement secure, resilient technology solutions across the organisation. You will influence technology strategy and enable the business to manage cyber risk in line with policies, standards, and regulatory obligations.

You’ll lead architecture choices, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIS2, PCI DSS and Zero Trust principles where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting architecture risk assessments and creating business cases.
• Experience developing security architecture patterns and reference architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud security across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience supporting regulatory requirements such as NIS2, PCI DSS, GDPR or SOX.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP or Azure Security Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review, and assure security designs for services, platforms, and applications.
• Identify risks and architectural gaps; address them with approved security patterns.
• Ensure technologies are resilient, compliant, and aligned with standards.
• Provide expert advice on security implications for new technologies.
• Document risk assessments, decisions, and trade-offs for transparency.
• Build relationships with technology teams and external partners to deliver cyber security services.
• Define and maintain security architecture standards, blueprints, and reference architectures.
