City of Doncaster Council is seeking a School Improvement Advisor (Governance) to support the effective delivery of statutory and regulatory education duties for maintained schools. The role is based in Doncaster, with hybrid working from the Civic Office.

The post is permanent and term-time only, 22.2 hours per week, Grade 8, offering a pro-rata salary of 35,570–39,481. Shortlisting will occur in October with interviews soon after.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the LA's statutory and regulatory education duties for maintained and other schools.
• Work within Education and Skills Service to provide governance advice and support to schools.
