Job summary

ArvatoConnect in Swansea is seeking a SAP Payroll Configuration Specialist to support and enhance SAP ECC6 HR & Payroll for our HMRC client. This role focuses on payroll configuration, not processing, and involves PCRs, legislative updates, testing and root cause analysis of escalated payroll issues.

You'll work with Payroll, Finance and ICT colleagues to assess impact, implement changes, and contribute to continuous improvement on future payroll projects in a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with SAP ECC6 Payroll configuration in a complex environment.
• Hands-on payroll configuration experience including PCRs.
• Understanding of SAP HR/Payroll processes and data impact.
• Experience diagnosing complex payroll/system issues and RCA.
• Experience configuring, testing and implementing changes.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organised, able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and enhance SAP ECC6 HR & Payroll solutions, ensuring changes are delivered accurately.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll and system issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Design and implement payroll configuration changes, including PCRs, to client requirements.
• Assess, configure and support change requests from impact assessment through testing.
• Support payroll-related projects, legislative updates and SAP updates.
• Carry out system and user acceptance testing (UAT) and fix defects.
• Maintain technical documentation and log changes in repositories.
