Job summary

MBDA is offering a 10 week Safety and Reliability Engineering placement starting June 2027 in Stevenage. The role provides hands-on exposure across the product lifecycle and includes the possibility of a graduate offer.

Applicants must be UK or dual UK nationals with BPSS clearance and will work in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days on-site per week. The package includes pension contributions and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Physics, Astronomy or Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, Systems and Safety Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and reliability aspects of complex weapon systems during the placement period.
• Assist design teams to deliver safe and reliable products on time and on cost with guidance from experts.
• Contribute to methodologies and processes such as hazard analysis or FMECA under supervision.
